Pecked!
The Pomposa area and the Po Delta area are a merry-go-round of living beings, living between sky, earth and water. Catching them as they fly, swim, nest or feed means stopping to observe carefully, leaving the hurry behind, holding binoculars or a camera and waiting for the right moment.

Who would like to dive into some games? There are many games that can be played with animal images: recognition, memory… Among the animals here is a pair of beakless intruders.
It might be fun to create a nice goose game with the pictures taken in Pomposa and its surroundings. What do you think? There are not only these animals. One of the most famous ones in the area is very… shelly.
The selection of photos in this gallery comes from the online archives of the Parco Delta del Po (in its sections Parco Naturale Regionale Veneto del Delta del Po and Parco Delta del Po Emilia Romagna), to which large and patient “living nature” enthusiasts also contribute.
