The Pomposa wardrobe

There are autumn-winter and spring-summer collections. There are costume changes and catwalks full of colour. There are incomparable soundtracks and incomparable embroideries, even when they are imperfect. Symmetries, excesses, varied cuts and shapes. Leaves, plants, trees, flowers, animals parade (even when stationary); chirping, squeaking, rustling, pattering (all with final “ing”!) are the soundtrack of seasonal performances; shades of colour enliven the prêt-à-porter with style. There is also no shortage of scents collections: not everyone likes them, but they are undeniably trendy! All this at your fingertips, before your eyes and under your nose.
We are all invited. You don’t have to be dressed up to attend. You can be a simple, attentive observer on the spot or even a deferred observer. A notepad, a pencil and a tape measure can be enough to note down the shape and size of what you can at least touch. A photograph would not hurt, but if you are a skilled draughtsman you can practice en plen air. And, without exaggerating with voracious collecting, even the creation of a herbarium could give great satisfaction and open the door to the creation of a personal botanical atelier.
